Unlimited Power by Anthony Robbins: This book is truly a classic. This is the book that first introduced me as well as many other people to NLP. Tony does an incredible job of not only teaching NLP, but has done a great job integrating the skills and attitude into his own life.
NLP at Work by Sue Knight: The second edition is incredible. This book is written in a clear, readable and jargon-free approach to NLP. Features a lot of great applications of NLP in a business environment.
User Manual for the Brain by Michael Hal PH.D and Bobby Bodenhamer: This book is the complete Practitioner training manual. It is an extremely comprehensive manual that contains some of the latest developments in NLP, particularly with regard to the Meta-States model and Meta-model of language.
Neuro-Linguistic Programming for Dummies by Romilla Ready and Kate Burton: This book is not only a great introduction to NLP, but also provides countless numbers of practical applications of NLP. This book clearly demonstrates NLP’s many benefits and shows techniques that can be utilized immediately.
The Life Coaching Handbook by Curly Martin: This book does a great job of showing how to combine NLP and Coaching in working with clients. A great read! It makes a great reference book when working with clients.
The Psychology of Persuasion by Kevin Hogan: This is one of the classic NLP books in the field of persuasion and influence. It does a great job of explaining how to utilize NLP when attempting to persuade and influence others. It explains quite in depth the persuasion process and how to get people to do what you want them to do, as well as how to build relationships.
Time for a Change by Richard Bandler: In this book Richard Bandler describes belief and hypnosis as closely related in healing and transformation. He also explores such advanced concepts as time distortion. This book demonstrates some great therapeutic approaches using NLP.
Think Like a Winner by Dr. Walter Doyle Staples: This book is packed full of various NLP techniques for maximizing your life potential. It’s endorsed by such authors as Anthony Robbins, Brian Tracy, Denis Waitley, Kenneth Blanchard and Norman Vincent Peale.
Wealth Without a Job by Phil Laut and Andy Fuehl: NLP applied to wealth building. It shows specifically how to apply NLP to entrepreneurship. This is one of the NLP books focuses on the emotional side of being an entrepreneur. It explains the characteristics that separate the wealthy from the others as well as how to earn the income you want from work that you love.
Unlimited Power a Black Choice by Joseph McClendon III and Anthony Robbins: This book was written by Anthony Robbins, top coach and trainer and Joseph McClendon, primarily for the African American community, and has applications and examples that everyone can benefit from. Joseph has a very unique perspective working with Tony Robbins over the years and shares his insights throughout the book. He shares some powerful applications of NLP. They clearly demonstrate that whatever you envision you can achieve, that your state of mind determines what you can and can’t do, and that all successful results can be modeled and duplicated.
